"A winner knows how much he still has to learn, even when he is considered an experts by others. A loser wants to be considered an expert by o...thers, before he has learned enough to know how little he knows."
The way a team plays as a whole determines its success. You may have the greatest bunch of individual stars in the world, but if they don't play together, the club wont be worth a dime.
1) Practicing against the wall when you KNOW you cant win. 2) Serving as hard as you can knowing that the smallest mistake can make you lose the point, game, set, or match. 3) Getting so fed up that you wanna scream and kick and punch something but wanting to continue so badly that you'll settle for hitting the racket as hard as you can on the bottoms of your shoes. 4) Getting so frustrated with yourself or your doubles partner that you wanna give up and cry, but respecting yourself, the game and your partner enough to just smile and continue the game. 5) Losing so badly that you just want to give up and mess up on purpose or forfeit but having that tiny bit of hope just to keep playing the game point by point. 6) Loving the game SO much where you have practice seven days a week, four hours a day in the blistering hot just so you have a better chance of winning the next match.
But most of all, Tennis is about... not caring whether you win or lose giving it your best and smiling the whole way through. Because it's FUN.
