So that's just some stuff i found. It seems that this contest could very well be a scam. As you can see above there are some suspicions, and even someone who "won" 2nd place but didn't get the money. Also, another problem seems to be that this "group" is possibly earning personal profits from the poems they recieve.
I would say don't do it because it is just a contest that may not be worth the problems it could cause. You can enter the contest if you want, BUT don't give them any money. It's better to leave the way you started then to lose some money.
If I find out any actual information about the contest I will write more.
