    Mellon pulled the whistle
    Hoover rang the bell,
    Wall street gave the signal,
And the country went to hell

In my opinion, the government is just a tool of control. How can something tell you how to raise your child, how to live your life, how to spend your money, how much money you should have, where you should live, and most of all, who you should love.
We as a people listen to others for guidance in a world that's built on materialism, money and beauty. Is this something that you feel you should follow. Are we not intelligent enough to live our lives without rules placed out for us by people that constanly break them. Are we not strong enough to make life decisions for ourselves without the aide of some form of government help.
If the government was truly for the people, those stupid television shows, movies and commercials would cease and the money being waisted on them would go to those of us that need it most!

If President Bush was sent back to school and asked to write a 5 paragraph essay about why we’re attacking Iraq I don’t think he could even come up with the thesis statement.

Politicians are a lot like diapers. They should be changed frequently, and for the same reason.

Two things are necessary in a great leader: spine and heart. Spine, to stand up and be heard, and heart, to sit down and listen.
