Mom, you've held onto my hand for a while, but now I am growing up. But just remember, you will always hold on to my heart, forever. Forever there will be love.

    A Mother Is:

    Loving hands quickly reach
Each time she hears a cry
    Lifting up to comfort
And kiss the tears all dry
    Weary eyes refusing sleep
    Stay the whole night through
Her child is sick and hurting
    Her tender care is due
The many tasks all done in love
To make it through each day
    Seem to go unnoticed
    Till she is gone away
    A Mother is that someone
    With a mission from above
    Imparting to her children
    The image of God's love

Remember whose was the first finger you held

…........who was the angel who first held you in her arms

…........who helped you to take your first step…….

    …........who first fed you

…........the world calls her a 'Mother'

…........Remember how tough a time she had giving you a bath

    …........or feeding you Corn flakes

…........or helping you with your homework

…........or getting you dressed up for school

    …........and combing your hair

…........She got you new clothes for each B'day

    …........took you out camping

…........held your hand whenever you felt you had no one

…........And now she's finally made you what you are today

How did you find the energy, Mom
To do all the things you did,
To be teacher, nurse and counselor
To me, when I was a kid.

How did you do it all, Mom,
Be a chauffeur, cook and friend,
Yet find time to be a playmate,
    I just can't comprehend.

I see now it was love, Mom
That made you come whenever I'd call,
    Your inexhaustible love, Mom
And I thank you for it all.

What's the difference between moms and dads?

    1. Moms work at work & work at home, & dads just go to work at work.

    2. Moms know how to talk to teachers without scaring them.

    1. Mothers don't do spare time.

    2. To hear her tell it, she pays bills all day long.

What would it take to make your Mom perfect?

    1. On the inside she's already perfect. Outside, I think some kind of plastic surgery.

    2. Diet. You know, her hair. I'd diet, maybe blue.

If you could change one thing about your Mom, what would it be?

    1. She has this weird thing about me keeping my room clean. I'd get rid of that.
