I just have to say...
this site had the number one book as the bible....
yes by far its the best book....
but did god really write it....

i mean i believe god wrote the ten commandments....
one the whole bible is a story and qoutes and so on...the new testament obviously wasnt written by was written by all the different people who wrote there opinion of jesus......matthew, mark, luke, david, so on, and so on....

i mean i~ve never the seen the oldest bible in exsistance....if its the first one at that... but still if god wrote...what it just poof magically appeared...

i mean in a way god wrote in ...but only in the sense that we created people that wrote yes he helped... alot....

final statement if the author is have to label every other person that put there time and effort in to writing the bible......

reply if you like...thanks..

Kristi God did not write the Bible. Prophets and disciples mainly did. But God used them to speak for Him. He spoke to them in dreams and in other ways and told them what He wanted his people to do. And the prophets and disciples kept records of the things that God told them, and it became the Bible. (i hope that's a reasonable explanation. :) lol) 3/2/2005 7:22:45 PM

mrsmurry the bible was writin by god, i dont know if you have read the bible or have a bible but at 2timothy 3 v 16 it says-All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness. so even though it was writen by men its the thoughts of god 5/5/2005 10:43:22 AM

Fluffy The bible is a fictitious account of history. The bible is about complete faith, it's not supposed to make logical sense. I was saying in case the contradictions your talking about mbmun are about the bible and reality. I'm not against the bible. I know the churchs help people in need. I believe that religion can help people get their life in shape if they need guidance. I just know that the bible shouldn't be interpreted as a valid source of history since it was written by Men who wanted support for their religion from a certain group of people. 6/13/2005 1:38:33 AM

zenocravins I will not take a side in this argument but i will say that i have yet to find anyone who can make an argument for either side which is impossible to question. The religious side is almost completely on faith. While the other is science and much more knowledge of science needs to be attained. If the "good book" is true then hell will be full of scientists. Even if christianity is history's most elaborate and sucessful hoax, religion provides an escape, and a hope for some people who would not be able to handle the pressures of society otherwise, and to take that away would devistate countless people. 6/18/2005 3:55:50 AM
