prodigy I~ve always thought that the ratios should be reversed....

80% don~t care, and 20% are glad I have them....I mean, seriously, 80% of the people you know hate you????

prodigy True...But its human nature to be indifferent. If not, starving africans would have went out a long time ago. 12/9/2009 11:40:41 PM

kilroy85 Lots of money gets sent to Africa... from Christian ministries and such... also much of the Africa people actually really loved Bush since he did a lot to help aid Africa. 12/9/2009 11:53:12 PM

and_yet_again yes, indifference is a habit for many of us. you know that guy who took photos of water crystals and stuff, and how he found different crystals formed when you said or did certain things to the water. i think half of it was aload of crap, but it seems he was kinda onto some stuff too.

anyway, he did this thing were he gave positive attention, negative attention, and no attention, to 3 different water samples, and then took photos of the crystals formed, and the most broken crystals were in the sample that got no attention. so it seems indifference is the worst possible thing.

kil, i think with a lot of those charities....the money that actually gets to the people is a lot less than is donated, much of it is swallowed up by the people that handle it. ........ sticky fingers you know

kilroy85 Yea, the biggest problem in Africa is their own leadership. AYA, what do you base this claim on? There is A LOT of aid sent via charities and our government. 12/10/2009 8:38:17 AM

prodigy Whose fault it is is neither here nor there. The problem still arose from one party's indifference to the well-being of another. 12/10/2009 10:47:21 AM

prodigy And I know lots of money is being sent out, but still. Christians are sort of obligated to do that. (Kilroy, I promise, that was notmeant in the way I know you are going to try and say it was, I just can't find the word to use.) Or rather, I can, because its the CHristan thing to do. WWJD?

Anyways, what about any other groups of people? Aside from the chrstains? Yes, I know others have sent theirs, but do you really believe that 80% of the people in this world, let alone 20%, are sending money?

and_yet_again i agree with the first statement.......... :)

lol, information, from observation............... and some employers who live in south africa till a couple of years ago. not sayin for sure its true, or true right across the board........ but i reckon it does happen in at least some of the charities......... come, as co-ordinator or whatever of that charity, it would be so tempting would it not? all thi money coming through, no-one actually knows how much......... skim a bit off the top, perhaps it wont be noticed............
you cant tell me all these people who work for charities are saints..................only most of them.....

and mwhahah.......... our government........ well, if your lookin for lost money, look no further!
haha, kil, i think im too critical of establishments and orginisations, but i reckon your too trusting.........these things, in the end, (i reckon) are a means for an end, personal gain, not there to soley benifit the people......... but anyway, this is opinions........ so it matters little......
