You say you will never forget where you were when you heard the news On September 11, 2001. Neither will I.
I was on the 110th floor in a smoke filled room with a man who called his wife to say "Good-bye".
I held his fingers steady as he dialed.
I gave him the peace to say, "Honey, I am not going to make it, but it is OK... I am ready to go."

I was with his wife when he called as she fed breakfast to their children. I held her up as she tried to understand his words and as she realized he really wasn't coming home that night.

I was in the stairwell of the 23rd floor when a woman cried out to Me for help, for the very first time in her life.
"I have been knocking on the door of your heart for 50 years!" I said. "Of course I will show you the way home - only believe in Me now."

I was at the base of the building with the Priest ministering to the injured and devastated souls.
I took him home to tend to his Flock in Heaven.
He heard my voice and answered.

I was on all four of those planes, in every seat, with every prayer. I was with the crew as they were overtaken.
I was in the very hearts of the believers there, comforting and assuring them that their faith has saved them.

I was in Texas, Kansas, London... I was everywhere.
I was standing next to you when you heard the terrible news.
    Did you sense Me?

I want you to know that I saw every face.
I knew every name - though not all know Me.
Some met Me for the first time on the 86th floor.
Some sought Me with their very last breath.
Some couldn't hear Me calling to them through the smoke and flames; "Come to Me... this way ... take my hand." Some had never heard my voice before. And a few chose, for ! the final time, to ignore Me.

    But, I was there.

I did not place you in the Tower that day. You may not know why, but I do. However, if you were there in that explosive moment in time, would you have reached for Me?

September 11, 2001 was not the end of the journey for you.
But someday your journey will end.
And I will be there for you as well.
Seek Me now while I may be found.
Then, at any moment, you know you are "ready to go"

...I will be in the stairwell of your final moments.

I dreamed I had an interview with God.

“So you would like to interview me?” God asked.

“If you have the time” I said.

God smiled. “My time is eternity.”
“What questions do you have in mind for me?”

“What surprises you most about humankind?”

    God answered...
“That they get bored with childhood,
they rush to grow up, and then
    long to be children again.”

“That they lose their health to make money...
and then lose their money to restore their health.”

“That by thinking anxiously about the future,
    they forget the present,
such that they live in neither
    the present nor the future.”

"That they live as if they will never die,
and die as though they had never lived.”

    God’s hand took mine
and we were silent for a while.

    And then I asked...
“As a parent, what are some of life’s lessons
you want your children to learn?”

“To learn they cannot make anyone
love them. All they can do
    is let themselves be loved.”

“To learn that it is not good
    to compare themselves to others.”

    “To learn to forgive
    by practicing forgiveness.”

“To learn that it only takes a few seconds
to open profound wounds in those they love,
and it can take many years to heal them.”

“To learn that a rich person
is not one who has the most,
but is one who needs the least.”

“To learn that there are people
    who love them dearly,
but simply have not yet learned
how to express or show their feelings.”

“To learn that two people can
    look at the same thing
    and see it differently.”

“To learn that it is not enough that they
forgive one another, but they must also forgive themselves.”

"Thank you for your time," I said humbly.

    "Is there anything else
you would like your children to know?"

    God smiled and said,
“Just know that I am here... always.”

When God leads you to the edge of the cliff,
Trust Him fully, Only two things can happen,
Either HE will catch you when you fall,
Or He'll teach you how to fly

One day there was a scientist speaking to God. The scientist said. "God, we dont need you anymore. we can make everything and anything." God said, "Alright then, perform this." God picked up some dirt with His hands and blew at it. Out came a beautiful bird. The scientist said "is that all?" so he started to pick up some dirt, and God said "no, pick up your own dirt."

The shortest distance between a problem and
a solution is the distance between your knees and the floor.
The one who kneels to God can stand up to anything.
Winners make things happen. Losers let things happen.

there was an atheist couple who had a child. the couple never told their daughter anything about the Lord. one night, when the little girl was 5 years old, the parents fought with each other and the father shot the mom right there in front of the little girl....then he shot himself. the little girl watched it all!!! she was then sent to foster home. the foster mother was a christian and took the child to sunday school...the foster mother told the teacher that the little girl had never heard of jesus and to have patience with her. the teacher held up a picture of the lord and asked "does anyone know who this is?" and the little girl said "I do, that's the man that was holding me the night my parents died."

    NEW School prayer :
Now I sit me down in school
Where praying is against the rule
For this great nation under God
Finds mention of Him very odd.

If Scripture now the class recites,
It violates the Bill of Rights.
And anytime my head I bow
    Becomes a Federal matter now.

Our hair can be purple, orange or green,
    That's no offense; it's a freedom scene.
The law is specific, the law is precise.
Prayers spoken aloud are a serious vice.

For praying in a public hall
Might offend someone with no faith at all.
In silence alone we must meditate,
God's name is prohibited by the state.

We're allowed to cuss and dress like freaks,
And pierce our noses, tongues and cheeks.
They've outlawed guns, but FIRST the Bible.
To quote the Good Book makes me liable.
We can elect a pregnant Senior Queen,
And the 'unwed daddy,' our Senior King.
It's "inappropriate" to teach right from wrong,
We're taught that such "judgments" do not belong.

We can get our condoms and birth control,
Study witchcraft, vampires and totem poles.
But the Ten Commandments are not allowed,
No word of God must reach this crowd.

It's scary here I must confess,
When chaos reigns the school's a mess.
So, Lord, this silent plea I make:
Should I be shot; My soul please take!

If you aren't ashamed to do this,
    please pass this on.
    Jesus said,
"If you are ashamed of me,
I will be ashamed of you before my Father."

Not ashamed. Add this to your favorites.
